Walk up RP is present but it is 50/50 in whether it'll be good or bad (Same on MG Alliance.) Community is more separate with no real equivalent of Warcraft Conquest or Coalition from MG (and MG Horde respectively.) MG Alliance is more or less the same like WRA Horde ...Go for Silvermoon/Ravencrest. Basically having the most people on your faction on the server is the most important. Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific).
